Dit programma leert jou te duiken tot 40m/132 ft en tot 10 minuten decompressietijd duiken te voltooien met het gebruik van een standaard duikuitrusting. Deze speciality is ontworpen om jou kennis uit te breiden en de vaardigheden en procedures die vereist zijn voor het uitvoeren van een decompressieduiken te ontwikkelen. OPEN CIRCUIT DECOMPRESSION 40/132 SPECIALITY

This Speciality is designed to extend the diver's knowledge and introduce the skills and decompression procedures required in the use of oxygen enriched gases for Sport diving. It develops the sport diving skills and provides a greater understanding of the concept of limited decompression sport diving.

This programme qualifies divers to do dive to 40 metres/132 feet and complete dives with mandatory decompression stop requirements for up to maximum of 10 minutes.

The Programme employs the following gasses:
Oxygen enriched gas (EANx / Nitrox) mixes from 21% to a maximum of 40% oxygen content.
A maximum PpO2 of 1.4 at the TOD.
A maximum PpO2 of 1.6 at at the MOD.
A maximum depth of 40 metres/132 feet.

PREREQUISITES

To be a minimum of 16 years old.
To be certified diver for at least 3 months.
Certified RAID Open Circuit Level 2 diver or equivalent certification/s submit Navigation,Night/Restricted Visibility, and/or equivalent. The instructor is to evaluate these skills.
15 logged hours underwater using open circuit.

Documented proof of prerequisite requirements needs to be presented to the Dive Centre for approval prior to any in water training.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

For this course you will required to have use of the following:

Single cylinder; the gas volume shall be no less than 2400 lt / 80 cu ft
Single cylinder pillar valve shall have an DIN preferred valve fitting
1 x first stages
2 x Standard second stages (Primary second stage preferred on 2m/6.5ft PL hose)
1 x SPG
1 x BCD/wing LP hose
1 x Single/multi gas Nitrox dive computer
1 x dive timer or enriched air (Nitrox gases) computer .
1 x slate
1 x SMBs and reel
1 x knife
1 x dive masks
1 x torch/light/underwater lamp
1 x BCD/wing with adequate lift capacity
1 x exposure suit - a dry suit shall have interchangeable inflator system with BCD LP hose

Deco 60/200 Diver

The Deco 60 course builds upon the knowledge and skills from Deco 50. Divers will learn to carry and utilize an additional stage/deco cylinder as well as normoxic trimix to depths of 60 m/200 ft. Advanced dive planning techniques, multiple stage handling and unlimited decompression times are the highlights of this course using normoxic trimix and oxygen mixtures up to 100 percent o2.

Cave 2 Diver

This program has been developed by professional cave instructors who are also avid cave divers who love diving in cave. And while this program pays homage and gives respect to traditional cave training techniques and limits, it adds additional skills that RAID’s development team believes are required to execute "Full cave dives" safely, comfortably, and enjoyably.

RAID CAVE 2 DIVER

As a graduate from RAID's Cave1 program, you have already experienced the "RAID difference." If you're coming into this program from another training stream, get ready to be challenged.

This program has been developed by professional cave instructors who are also avid cave divers who love diving in cave. And while this program pays homage and gives respect to traditional cave training techniques and limits, it adds additional skills that RAID's development team believes are required to execute "Full cave dives" safely, comfortably, and enjoyably.

For example, you will build on the entanglement/line repair, and buddy rescue you learned in you RAID Cave1 program. You'll also learn how to protect yourself by diving with a stage bottle. While some believe the use of a stage bottle equals further penetration, at RAID we feel a stage also gives divers time to learn more about the cave environment and its character.


Most of all, your RAID Cave2 program is intended to build a greater understanding and appreciation of the fragile cave environment. By enrolling in this RAID Cave2 program, you are making a commitment to become an ambassador for the Karst. And for that, we thank you.
